Caldicot Town Ground Improvements
After being in service for over twenty years the floodlight system at the Jubilee Way playing fields are in desperate need of repair. After receiving several quotations it would appear that to replace the lights to a higher specification in order to meet the required league standard of 250 lux the cost would amount to an estimated £13,000 and to add an additional light to each pole the cost would rise to £19,000. As a club we are hoping that funding from the Welsh Grounds Improvement fund will be available to us but this will only cover up to 75% of the overall cost meaning the club will need to find the remaining 25%. With the view to building in resilience we would like to have the option of an extra light incase the occasional bulb develops a fault therefore our aim is to secure £4,750 in donations to help us reach our goal of installing the three lights on each column at a cost of £19,000.
